Here are a few of my super top picks of things you must check out this weekend as well as a heads up for one of the greatest things you can  possibly visit next month.

The 2013 Kawaii Fair is currently going on until April 26th. Kawaii means loveable/cute so expect to see a lot of cute items. You can check out their official blog for more information.

The Raglan Shire still has Super Hero’s/Villains month going on as well as it being the Shire’s 6th Birthday. Be sure to visit in your hero or villain costume before the end of the month. For more information please check out their official website as well as the events calendar for events going on throughout the month.

If you plan on doing the Shires Hero/Villain month then I do suggest you come up with an original character & join the fun. My super persona, the inebriator, is a “neutral spirit” hero. I’m neither good nor evil. If it’s a Friday night you love me. But if it’s a Saturday morning you might hate me. So I’m good & evil. All depends on how you view me.

If you are looking for a place to take beautiful pictures or just hang in nature check out Winter Moon (M). Beautiful & dark with rain that seems to randomly move around to different spots around the sim. HIGHLY suggest you go check it out.

Since the Mr. E. Bunny is important I thought I would teleport to a few places that had promises of Easter goodness. Alas, some of these areas had absolutely no signs of bunnies, candy, or spring when they used the keyword “Easter” in search. Instead I ran into an orgy, a slut clothing store, & an empty club. Go figure.

I did, however, find a bit of the Easter Bunny spirit at the Botianica Botanical Garden (G). It is a store but the plus part was that, not only is it also a garden, but I found lots of bunny related stuff. Bunnies with eggs. Bunnies just kinda hanging out. Bunnypalosa.

How Do You Do Mr. Bunny?

If you are big into the whole SL hunt thing then you will find that they currently have something called the “Spring Gardens Easter Egg Hunt” going on. All you need to do is click the hunt sign, read what you need to do, put the basket on that they give you, & TADA you are ready to Easter egg hunt. I can show you one of the hunt items that I found which was a really cool bunny ear hat. Made me kinda feel like I was going on some sort of spring safari.

Back on my search I ended up weeding through stores, strip clubs, sex clubs, sex & strip clubs…you get the picture. That is sometimes one of the hardest things when it comes to searching for a holiday. You need to carefully weed out the areas that are either have nothing to do with the holiday itself or those that are basically shops.

Or the ones that have the holiday in the name with the word “town” after it. ZING!

After a bit of zipping around the grid I ended up at the Oasis Zoo (M). After you get your zoo animal watching on they actually have a tiny little area completely dedicated to Easter.

I Found The Bunny!

It’s not really a huge holiday thing to write a virtual letter home to but it does have Easter stuff & lot’s of bunnies. Being a zoo I’m glad they didn’t skimp on the rabbits. (Oh…and they are not breedables…WOOO!!!)

Good luck on your Easter Bunny hunt as you wander around the grid this year. Beware of the areas that just flat-out lie. Avoid “towns”. Try not to get sucked into the shopping hype. And…beware of bunnies trying to step on your face if you lay down.

Growing up St. Patrick’s Day was a pretty big deal. It still is with my family. They go to see a lot of Irish bands all year round & I’ve seen quite a few when I’m in town. Lot’s of Irish foods. Alcohol. Fun!

1. Two Child Avatars At A Major Event With Topless Man In Shorts On Roller Skates (G Area) - I am standing around looking at something at this current major when two male “child” avatars come rolling in with an adult avie. The adult avie just happens to be wearing nothing but shorts & roller skates. He’s just kinda standing around with a “heeerrr heerrr herrr” laugh every time the “children” avatars say something that involves curse words or slam everyone that walks by them. I’m a tiny bulldog avatar in a dress with the mouth of a sailor. If you haven’t guessed by now (I don’t know how you wouldn’t notice) I love to say bad words. This is different. These avies were just flat-out crude & rude. There is a time & a place but saying “fuck this & fuck that” at a very busy G sim isn’t one of them.

2. Tummy Talker Lady (G Area) -
When your fake preggo belly says this….” Feels like I am sinking in here as the uterus is getting bigger and I am settling into your pelvis more now.”…outloud in public then you are a stupid ass. No one wants to hear that shit. Come on! I hate tummy takers & everyone who wears them looks like an idiot. There. I said it.

3. Colorful Squiggle Griefer (M Area) – I went to check out a piece of virtual property that was for sale the other day. When I teleported in the entire sim was griefed with large prim shapes spinning around that looked like someone painted macaroni noodles & hung them in the air. Whoever did this is a sack of dog crap. You probably ruined a lot of people’s days by doing something so stupid. Needless to say I didn’t even stick around to check the land out. I did, however, report your ass. You’re welcome.

4. The Penis Griefer (G Area) – A sim that I spend a lot of time in was recently griefed by someone who decided to make multiplying penis pictures rain down upon its residents. We’re not talking cartoon dicks. We’re talking porn picture penises. (Try saying that five times fast…that’s a mouthful…that’s what she said…OK..sorry..can’t help myself..) This was not only annoying to those who live on these sims but it was also in horrible taste as they were G rated sims. To make matters worse when trying to return or remove the invisible prim that was causing this it would go into this technicolor flashing that would make any graphics card cry. After much “Oh No” & reporting it was finally taken care of. I saw this first hand and it was horrible. Having a situation like this on any sim is no fun. Having adult material flashing on a sim that happens to be G rated is worse. Kudos to everyone who got the mess straightened out.

I would like to give a big crown of shit to this rounds Shame List winner…The Penis Griefer Group. Not only did you harass residents with your words you assaulted them with graphic sex pictures & graphic melting colors. The crown fits perfectly because you are all pieces of shit.

You have a great way of matching your pinks. Or I should say what little pink you’re actually wearing. (I could have made a sexual joke right about now but I’m refraining. I don’t want to get to the middle of a letter & discuss how you your “pink” is hanging out. It would just be in bad taste.) I can say that you’ve matched the skates nicely to the bow you’re calling a top. It works in a “Today I got dressed in a craft cupboard” kinda way.

I would like to ask you an important question. How exactly do the deer antlers & wings work out? Angel deer? Confused gal with a flying fetish? I mean you’re a girl with antlers yet you have no hoofs or tail. You have wings but you’re not a bird (and definitely not angelic) Maybe you’re a like a Pegasus. A fawnasus? Deerasus?

Don’t get me wrong. I’m still into the whole pink matching you’ve got going on. And I have to say you are hardcore with that tattoo. I’ve gotta give props to anyone as skinny as you that didn’t have issues with the needle going straight through you & into the chair you’re sitting on. You go girl. I have had a few people make such great comments as “It’s like she forgot to wear the skirt and just put the fringe on” to ” I think I got a sugary virtual STD just looking at this picture.” Now that’s just mean. I would have just slapped a pair of this thing we call panties on you, maybe taught you how to read, & crossed my fingers that you wouldn’t end up with a virtual baby before you hit the virtual age of three. But…that’s just me. I’m a helper like that.

All I can really say is that I hope you find more clothing to wear because a bow around your boobies will only get you so far. And honey…you don’t have to show so much to the world. You don’t come off sexy. You just come off looking like a dumb whore.

Dear Naked Guy Just Standing There,

The packages  you were holding were a nice touch. I’m sad that I was unable to capture that moment in time. At least I got to snap a photo of you in all of your naked backside glory.

So…how’s stuff? Hope everything virtual is going well for you. I would suggest putting on a sweater or at least a scarf so you don’t catch a cold. Winter’s a bitch that will smack your naked cartoon ass around if you’re not careful.

I just wanted to ask you a few questions. Why exactly are you naked? Did you lose a bet? Did you lose your clothing? I’m thinking that you’re one of those avatars who doesn’t give a crap about sim maturity ratings. I would say that you’re a free spirit who lets his boner flap in the wind but I could tell that was not the case. Kinda hard being a male avatar when you forget to attach your crayon in its proper place. From now on I shall just call you Ken.

Dear Ken. May I impart a few little nuggets of wisdom upon you. When you want to go out into our virtual playground remember to put your pants on. Please also remember to put on a shirt because male avatars that walk around with no shirt on are not cool. They just look like douches. If you were there to find clothes to put on because you were naked then I hope you find the outfit you were looking for. I would go into a whole speech about how I understand if you are having a hard time figuring out the user interface but you’re over two years old. So…for fucks sake. Put some clothes on.

I have a pet peeve about Valentine’s Day on Second Life. If you go through the fashion sites, blogs, & other such SL sites you run into the half-naked sexual position avie gauntlet. I’ve been reading since early this morning & for each one tasteful holiday photo you get ten where you get someone in their underwear “attempting” to be sexy. Everything from the flat-out topless in panties to the big booty hoochie mama’s.

Head…Desk…

I’m not opposed to the dirty nasty Valentine sex. Who doesn’t love it! I just wouldn’t mind seeing something a little more hearts, flowers, stuffed animals, & love without having to see a virtual avatars ass crack.

Because I have SO MUCH information I have decided to split this review into two parts. Three Disney related areas today. Two on Wednesday. In part two I’ll throw out which was my favorite to visit, where I got all of the neato swag, & thoughts on the whole thing. Break it all down.

With that said I spend a week visiting five different magical parks that involve a Disney theme. Many of which are tied together with posters outside of them suggesting that you check each one out. You would think that you would be all magic kingdom-ed out after one place but each one offers a unique experience. Most of the areas do their absolute best to give you an exact replica of what you might see if you were to actually visit Disney. A realistic experience makes the experience so much more enjoyable.

1. Sarah’s Magic Kingdom (M) – This is a smaller tribute to the wonderful world of Disney but well worth your visit. During my visit I had someone in the room with me watching the computer as I explored. While my favorite area was the Tiki Room (The song has been stuck in my head for DAYS!) they fell in love with the Haunted Mansion.

There are other great activities like a Disney Museum or Tower Of Terror. Miss that old “Mr. Toads Wild  Ride”? Then Sarah’s Magic Kingdom gives you the opportunity to virtually revisit a ride from days past. If you check out the music area then you will end up with THIS Song stuck in your head. Not a bad thing. I might have to play this at a DJ-ing event. When visiting be sure to take the time to grab & wear each hud for each different ride as well as the parade & fireworks.

2. Once Upon A Kingdom (G) – Much of the park is currently being remodeled so I do hope that they finish up sometime in the near future. Disappointing but I can understand. Redoing, rebuilding, or new constructions take time. Especially ones that are so in dept  as these parks are.

Aside from the frustration of construction I must say that it is a beautiful park. The main street is absolutely beautiful. Cinderella’s Castle is a pleasure to look at. I do recommend, with all of the construction, that you make your way to Liberty Square where you can watch “Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln”. When in doubt get your education on.

3. Enchanted Adventures Theme Park (G) – This is the one park that isn’t trying to be an exact replica of Disney. They are also not as large but it feels like it could be if they also finished up various constructions that are going on.

Honestly I don’t have a whole lot I can say about them. The spooky area was nice. The Wonderland ride absolutely rocked. It is disappointing when you go someplace that has so much potential but it kinda goes flat on you. Hopefully, after all of the construction/remodeling going on that this will change in the future.

I did run into a couple who were visiting the park. The guy kept calling me “It” to his date while she said that I was cute. I stopped for a minute to say hi to her. Being my tiny bulldog the guy was in shock that I am a girl. Of course he just kept addressing me as it or to her. Never directly to me. She was nice. This is not the fault of the place I was it. It was just the fault of a dumb guy. The lady rocked. You can come say hi & that I’m cute anytime. Hehe…

This does bring me to a good closing for today. Each park does have park security. Since they are meant to be safe “family friendly” areas it is nice that they have this set up. Then you never need to worry about someone harassing you while you are just trying to have a great time.

Next week we shall review our last two Disney themed Second Life areas, discuss role-playing policies for all of them, pick our favorite, & tell a few stories.

It hasn’t stopped raining in real life for four days. It doesn’t look like it will be stopping anytime soon. It’s gotten to the point where I feel I might have to buy a boat to go down my driveway. Small puddles are a thing of the past when you’ve got the awesome power of  tiny lakes in your yard! Yeah…I’m tired of rain.

I’m Tired Of Looking At You Rain!

I couldn’t resist taking a picture of me hanging outside of the MadPea Room 326 hunt. It’s some of the best rain I have ever seen in Second Life. Also, I look really sad sitting there in it.

Now, to just add to the rain misery, we are under warnings of upcoming snow. Snow? I hate snow. The rain I can deal with. I can just wear a life jacket when I leave the house. Snow, on the other hand, angers me. It makes me shake one fist at the sky while the other one holds my beer. (It takes talent to drink & shake your fist at the weather gods at the same time.) I did come up with a really great SLA Review Weather Statement that I think is important.

Snow. It just sucks ass.

Instead of coming into Second Life & finding beautiful weather I decided to find some that match my real life weather. I did run into a few stormy named sims in my search. Storm Warning, Quiet Storm, Love Storm, Stormwind & RocknRoll Storm. Zero of them were interesting in any way. I’m disappointed over the rock & roll storm thing not being cool. I was all set to play air guitar & maybe give a rock scream or two.  Not to be deterred from my mission to find some snow & rain sims I pressed on!

My first search was for rain. Since we’re starting with rain then moving onto snow in real life I thought it was only fitting to do the same in-world. Inis Caiseal (M) is a part of the Alchemy Immortalis sims. I came to one of the Alchemy sims because I knew that I was guaranteed to find some rain going on.  I wandered around for quite a while enjoying the sights while splashing around in my goloshes. All of the sims that they own are some of the most beautiful you will see on Second Life. There is nothing more beautiful than wandering around the rain while listening to the various nature sounds you’ll hear.

Don’t Forget Your Umbrella!

Maneuvering my way through search, and avoiding all stores that were trying to sell me the weather, I came across a funny named little place called Snow Ghetto (M). I was half expecting to see bums trying to wash my windshield & burnt out cars resting on blocks. Weirdly enough I was not greeted by a gangbanger or someone trying to sell me crack. Instead I was greeted to a small snowy island with ice skating. Was I disappointed? I wasn’t trying to score crack so not really. I was actually pretty surprised at how nice the place is. It is open to the public & all they ask is that you clean up after yourself when you go to leave.

Haaaalp! I’m Stuck!

My last stop has to be one of the biggest search surprises of the day for me. I cannot say enough about how much I really love this sim. Tiaga (G) is a Siberian nature based sim that is completely surrounded by forests. There is no shopping to be found which is a huge thing to me. I came to love nature not to look at dresses. The entire area is also a sandbox for those that want to rez a sled or something to go with the feel of the place. Just be sure to pick up after yourself.

I Hope My Butt Doesn’t Freeze To The Swing.

Tiaga is beautiful. From its little ice skating shack to its small cabin with a bar. It’s not overly decorated so it has an open, natural feel to it. I do recommend that you make your way to the small cabin. Just be sure to watch out for the moose. I hear they like to gamble.

 Now I must make my way to real life where I shall stock up on winter storm essentials. Toilet paper. Beer. Soup. Liquor. Wood. The things one needs to survive.
