Space is big.
Just wanted to make sure everyone knew that.
We have so much going on in space right now that many of us have been following closely. We are attempting to find the answers to Mars biggest questions. If you were lucky to have clear skies then you may have had the chance to check out the Perseid Meteor Shower. Very exciting times for a science geeks.
We can use Second Life to satisfy our curiosity about space with the various educational as well as flat out fun places with a spacetastic theme. Inspire Park has been around for years & is a wonderful place to visit if you want to just meditate or dance among the stars. They have been getting a lot of press as of late due to real life space excitement. Worth a trip but I thought we needed to give props to the many other areas of SL that cater to the star-gazer looking to check out the final frontier.
You can always grab a free space suit at the landing point & explore the Science School (G). If you’ve been dying to learn more about mars as well as check out past rovers then I highly recommend visiting. Just don’t forget to wear your space helmet.
Or check out the NASA eEducation Island (G) It’s A great place to find out information about NASA as well as upcoming NASA related events & education.
I know that many of you have already heard of the International Space Museum (G) on Second Life & I have mentioned them in the past. This time around I suggest you travel up into the sky to take at the international space station.
Hopefully this will help you get your spaaaaaaaccceeee exploration on in Second Life!
